Tricia Rose Tanoos
Biographical Info After practicing law for 18 years, Tricia Rose Tanoos established ROSE LAW in 2024. Rose refers to Saint Rose of Lima, Peru, the first canonized Saint of the New World after whom Tricia was named. Saint Rose cared for the sick and elderly; her work began social services in Peru. Like her patron saint, Tricia is a kind and compassionate attorney who began her practice of law by helping penniless mentally ill persons whose families had abandoned them. She brings a wealth of experience in estate and trust planning and elder law to the Lafayette community. Tricia graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis in 2006, and since then much of her career has focused on helping clients preserve their legacy and care for their loved ones. She has experience in Long-term care, Medicaid, Disability, Trust and Estate planning as well as Guardianship, Estate and Trust Administration. Over the years she has advised a wide range of clients, from those with modest means to those establishing a philanthropic legacy. Beyond her legal work, Tricia is a dedicated volunteer, having donated hundreds of hours to local charities and civic organizations in her hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana, including the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church and as a leader in pro bono projects with the Terre Haute Bar Association, including the Mock Trial Challenge and Talk to a Lawyer Day. Member of Tippecanoe County Bar Association, Golden Key Society and Lafayette Estate Planning Counsel. Tricia is driven by genuine empathy for others, including individuals who cannot afford legal services. She has generously donated her time to those in need, demonstrating her commitment to the betterment of her community. When she’s not advocating for others, Tricia spends quality time with her husband, James Tanoos, a Clinical Associate Professor at Purdue Polytechnic, and their three children—Michael, Lucia, and JJ.
