Robert Miller
Biographical Info Robert Miller is a dedicated attorney that cares about serving others and making sure his clients get the best representation that they can. His passion and care for clients is clear whether he is assisting through a divorce or family law issue, representation in a criminal proceeding, or helping a business as they form or the questions that they have later. As well, Robert has a unique perspective for assisting veterans or those currently serving that need legal counsel. Robert graduated cum laude from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Robert then attended the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Robert served as the Executive Production Editor for the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review and was selected as a member of Phi Delta Phi, an international legal honor society and the oldest legal organization in continuous existence in the United States. Robert was named to the Order of the Barristers, was on a national moot court team, and received the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence for completing over 200 hours of pro bono service in law school. Robert has previously worked as a Summer Clerk for Judge James Shadid in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois and as a law clerk for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General in the Solicitor General’s division where he helped research and write briefs for the Indiana Supreme Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Robert also spent two summers working for the Peoria County, IL State’s Attorney Office. After law school, Robert became a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Robert is also a Soldier and serves as a Judge Advocate in the Indiana Army National Guard. As a Judge Advocate, Robert is a part of the country’s oldest and largest law firms in the United States: The United States Army Judge Advocate General Corp. As a Judge Advocate, Robert works in a variety of areas of law to provide counsel to commanders and staff on all Army legal matters, and to soldiers on many individual matters.
