Abigayle Hensley
Biographical Info Abigayle Hensley is compassionate and purposeful, and has dedicated her career to assisting families through late-in-life transitions. Because she understands that her clients’ lives are changing significantly, Abigayle talks to her clients, listens to their concerns, and helps them understand their options. “I take the time to sit down with my clients and to clearly explain the options available for meeting their goals,” Abigayle says. “To bring comfort to my clients and their families during such a time of uncertainty, to ease their fears and worries, it is why I do what I do.” At BB&C, Abigayle practices all areas of Elder Law, such as long-term care planning and Medicaid, as well as Estate Planning and Administration. Abigayle helps clients explore options for arranging wealth and asset protection in contemplation of long-term care needs, as well as helping clients plan for the next generation, then helping loved ones later fulfill the clients’ wishes. In times of discourse between family members, Abigayle serves as a trained Guardian Ad Litem, appointed by the Court to assist in adult guardianship matters, and is a trained Family Law arbitrator and mediator, promoting amicable resolution when possible. “At the end of the day, I protect my clients and give them comfort that their wishes will be honored, so that they may find peace,” she says. Abigayle is a partner attorney and has been with BB&C for eight years, having practiced in Carmel, Indiana, for six years prior. She graduated from Clemson University in 2005 and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2008. Abigayle currently serves as Board President of Legal Aid of Tippecanoe County, a not-for-profit organization that provides legal services for low-income individuals and families in Tippecanoe County. Abigayle previously dedicated her free time volunteering at the YWCA Domestic Violence Women’s Shelter for six years. Abigayle and her family enjoy country living in Warren County. In her free time, Abigayle loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, and listening to live music.
